Creative Partners for
Community-Driven Growth

about five & dime

Brand strategy, design, websites, and marketing for community-focused organizations and businesses.

Creating for…

  • We’re passionate about building up communities, helping people feel excited about where they are, and inspiring to explore what’s next. We partner with tourism organizations, economic development initiatives, chambers of commerce, municipalities, and local governments to create brands, websites, and social media strategies that spark pride, attract visitors, and support long-term growth across cities, counties, and even state lines.

With backgrounds in tourism and regional development, we understand the unique challenges communities face: standing out, telling a cohesive story, and creating meaningful partnerships. Our work includes the Northeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, where a unifying rebrand helped connect Boyd & Greenup Counties and contributed to wins for Excellence in E-Communications and Excellence in Growth. We’re also proud partners of Appalachia’s Front Porch, a multi-state tourism initiative spanning Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, as well as Wander Russell and the City of Catlettsburg.

  • We believe meaningful impact often starts quietly—but that doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. We love working with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations to amplify their stories, generate awareness, and create buy-in through thoughtful branding, web design, and social media marketing.

From children’s education to community foundations, we collaborate with passionate leaders who care deeply about their work. Some of our current partners include Highlands Do!Zeum, United Way, and the Jesse Stuart Foundation, organizations with powerful missions and bold visions. Our role is to listen, clarify, and creatively implement strategies that help causes reach new supporters, grow engagement, and extend their impact over time.

  • We love working with businesses that care about what they do and the people they serve. From boutiques and realtors to Airbnbs, mortgage brokers, and service-based businesses, we help brands stand out, connect with their target audiences, and grow through strategic branding, website design, and social media management.

With experience in business development, public relations, and art & design, we understand that strong brands do more than look good; they drive results. Our work helps businesses build trust, foster community, reach new customers, and ultimately generate more revenue, all while staying rooted in the communities they serve.

You’re in good company.

Brandy Clark

Brandy’s passion for marketing took off 15 years ago when she built the website and social media for Clark’s Pump-n-Shop, and she’s been helping brands grow ever since. She’s the former Tourism Director of Visit Ashland, where she grew the brand identity of “Create with Us!”, helped the city earn SOAR’s City of the Year in 2023, and grow their online presence form scratch to over a million impressions a month. She serves on several regional boards, helped launch an international sci-fi film fest, and was once accused of having toxic positivity. Brandy’s a KY Colonel, cat mom to Holly & Jan, and probably knows every word to The Office. She believes in hard work, great stories and maybe even aliens!

Behind the Name

Five & Dime Creative’s name was inspired by our studio’s location, a historic GC Murphy building in Downtown Ashland, Kentucky. This popular Five & Dime store was once a community pillar, and now it serves as the home to our creative agency. Great storytelling is shaped by an understanding of not only where we’re going, but where we’ve come from as well. With that in mind, we’re proud to share in this part of Ashland’s history by giving the building new and exciting life through Five & Dime Creative.

We continue this legacy by serving Eastern Kentucky and the Tri-State area with memorable marketing and creative services that create impact and drive results.
